Door Handle's, and Door Locks, Hatch Lock too Questions..

I would like to replace my old door handles which are falling apart and barely open the door along with door and hatch locks.

My questions are: first how hard are they to replace, and second hopefully just some steps to doing them, because I would like to get the done right the first time if possible. I mean do I go through the door panel to get to the locks and handle etc? Is it worth it doing myself? Or should I have someone else who knows what there doing just do it?

You must remove the door panel to replace the handles and door locks. IIRC, the handle is held in place by two 10mm nuts. The lock by a spring clip--that at least for me--was a PITA. You can swap these out with basic handle tools and a few hours. There is some info/pics in the following link that may prove useful:
