4th Gen spoiler for 3rd Gen bird
Hey all, new to the forum, and so far I like what I see 
So, to my question. I recently aquired an 89 Trans Am GTA, and like most 3rd gens who havent had the love and attention they deserve, the spoiler is SHOT. I see the 4th gen spoiler from Hawks as a doable upgrade, but I have no clue as to how to do the swap. Any suggestions? Is it as simple as unbolting the old one and sliding the new one into place, or is this a job for a body shop only?
As for pics, I wont be posting any until she's at least all one color, even if that color's primer

before asking...Your question has been covered MANY, MANY times.
You have 2 choices...How deep is your wallet?
If it is deep, buy the Hawk's. Unbolt yours, buy the Hawk's one on & your done..for the right price.
Wanna do it for $100 & a little effort? Buy a OEM wing off a LT1 4th gen (DO NOT buy a LS1 wing) The LOOK the same, but aren't. The fit sucks. The center feet won't sit flat nor wil the outers "spears" sit right.
