Front end black headlight eyelid paint

ok guys this is goin be sorta a dumb question but ive been wondering how this gets done the right way since I got my iroc a year and a half ago.

im finally getting a new front bumper after a year of putting it off because mine is ****. my question is, my car is blue but I want the eyelids to stay black. now im getting the front end of hakws will the whole bumper be painted that color already? i dont want it to look like an rs being all one color. i want the eyelids to be black and the rest to be blue. how do i go about doing this "the right way"

i'm sure you mean headlite pockets . chances are with a new/used front nose , even if it is blue it will not be a perfect color match . anyway its a no brainer , mask , lightley sand , clean , rattle can of satin black , install nose . problem solved . good luck .

yeah, paint the head light pockets with satin/semigloss black then mask that off when you paint the rest of the bumper or entire car(whichever route you're going).

yeah, flat black would probably be the best choice!
My last camaro (87IROC) was painted black and the headlight buckets don't really matter with that color,if its black they must be painted the same as the rest of the car.
