Re: The Holey Grail of Body Parts [sticky worthy]

Please do some research about showcars-bodyparts before you send them your money. I have read a LOT of negative things about them over the years. A good friend of mine also sent them big money for fiberglass parts for a '70 Lemans that never came.

Well taking money and not shipping is one thing but most folks do bitch about glass parts as they expect them to go right on like steel and they never do.
There is always fit, finish n bracket work to be done that most don't think about.

Allot more work then making a new or used steel fender line up nice.
Probably 4 times as much work.

Like I said, just research the company. If I can find the giant thread that I read about them, I will post it. But I know for a fact my buddy got hosed for close to a grand in parts.

Here's an older review from a TGO member:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...unlimited.html

Here is another, more recent:

So yeah, maybe it does deserve a sticky to show people to stay away from them!

Re: The Holey Grail of Body Parts [sticky worthy]

what do you guys think about that widebody kit.
ive seen it on a few sites and although widebody kits are genarally reserved for ricers and the like, it seems like it would basically let you run as wide wheels as you want without poking out...

just wondering if anyone had seen one in person.
