I'm thinking of painting on the red heritage stripes on my car (black 91 Z28). Yes, I know it's not a '92, but I like the way it looks.

What I need to know is if someone knows the correct color name and paint code for factory red heritage stripes? I'm aware that the stripe package was vinyl, but the hood blisters were painted....

interesting question. in my day i was told that some were put on at the dealership and that they matched the blisters themselves making them all different but that would have been alot of work. don't have the answer but ttt for a great question.

 

I think they used standard GM "victory red", but for some reason I think the vinyl color and painted blister color was slightly darker than that... ?
