Will An 85 Trans Am Front fender fit on an 84 Trans Am?
I have an 84 Trans Am and the front fender is weathered from the previous owner (bondo & peeling paint). I don't like the look of the fender besides the fact that i can't recognize what year it belongs on. It looks like a modified 83' Daytona front. Now finding a Daytona front I believe is impossible but I love the front end of the 85-90. I wanted to purchase one from Hawks but wanted to be sure if it would work with the 84 body as a switch. Open to all/any advice.

Im Sure that any 3rd gen year firebird fender will bolt onto any 3rd gen firebird. Up to you to see the differences in GFX mounting points, Fender vents, etc.
And, 82-84 T/A's are the best. I have an 84.

I did that on my daughter's '84 car in my signature. The 85-up ground effects come up higher on the body. If you change the nose, you'll want to swap all the gfx & fender vents including the rear bumper cover for it to all line up. If you just replace the fender you will have 5 holes to fill on the '85 fender and re-drill the lower '84 TA gfx holes.
