1984 antenna removal
Is it possible to remove my antenna with out removing the fender?

You can take out the inner fender liner and reach in behind the fender.

Yea its real easy, all I did was just remove all the stuff up top and just push n shove the post down and over. Then fill the hole. I still pick up station just fine.

Which inner fender liner? In the wheel well, or under the hood? And will I be able to feed the wire of a new one this way?
The base on mine is broken and the antenna wobbles really bad, I want to just replace it with the short rubber kind like I had on my first firebird.
