I need a DIY guide

hello folks, I am new to this board and had a question in regards to rebuilding the front end. I have a brand new front hood,2 fenders, bumper and the lower chin. I bought an aftermarket stock hood and 2 fenders brand new. I got the bumper and the lower chin of a different camaro and just finished doing the prep work so the entire front end is ready for paint. I had a question in regards to how do I take off the fenders, bumper and the lower chin. I belive they are somehow interconnected and you sort of have to take one of to get to the other. I want to put the body parts on before I send it to the booth to get them fitted. I looked on the web and couldnt find a guide on how to dissasamble the front end. Help please....

Re: I need a DIY guide

Assuming it's the same as a Firebird. You could do it a couple of ways, but I think the easiest is to remove it all in one piece, then seperate the bumper from the fenders. All you have to do is remove your hood, then your hood brackets. Remove your inner fender wells. Remove the side skirting, you will need to go thru the door vent to remove the rear nuts. Unbolt all the fender bolts on the underside of the car. Remove the nuts/bolts holding the bottom of your front bumper. Remove all the bolts holding the metal bumper bracket to the radiator support. Remove your upper fender bolts. Pull the whole thing off.

Hope I didn't forget anything. If so, I'm sure someone else will chime in.
