Where can I purchase oem paint online for my 91 rs, paint code 75 WA9540 brilliant red metallic?

I need to paint my front/rear bumper, fenders and trim, so I'm thinking a gallon just to be safe....

You can't buy the exact same paint the factory uses.
A gallon will be way more color than you need.
You can buy quality refinish products, in the correct color for your car, at any autobody supply store in your area. And get lots of free howto advice, relative to your exact project, while you're there. You can't really get that buying online.

Yes I agree. Even if you could the factory paint is different. Allot of people do not know that a factory finish is not an air dry paint. The paint company will adjust the formula to the cure time of the oven in the plant. The suppliers of GM change allot, always trying to get a better deal-and they buy allot of paint! The EPA is not to hard on VOC for refinish (body shop) but they are for the factory!

The VOC stuff would depend on your area, some locals are mor stringent than others.

The OE paint I want to think was Baer for some years, Sherwin Williams others. But I have never heard of anything conclusive. I do know I was talking to somoene at a car show that worked for GM Engeneering in the 80's and i mentioned the "Turbo-Bell" System that was installed in Norwood, and he said most of those units were installed by Baer.

Unfortuantely I do not think that anyone sells Baer Automotive paint. for quality paints, i found that Dupont was the least expensive, then PPG and Sherwin-Williams was the most expensive. I have had GREAT results with Sherwin, I will be painting a car this summer with PPG, so I will be able to tell you more later.

I would stick with a QUALITY paint, it will last longer. ALSO get the "Flex Agent" for the bumpers, it will make your paint last longer.
