89 Formula tail lights

Does anyone have a thread or website that will show you how to wet sand and clean up tail lights. My tail lights are kind of cloudy and I think that a quick sand and some clear coat along with some coats of that tail light black out will clean it up nicely.

Laugh if you want, but they say tooth paste works good. I myself am not good at polishing anything, so I haven't tried it.

Are they just cloudy or are the seperating?

wetsand them with 1500grit...then polish step 1/2 etc.
