i won some g.fx on ebay and i just received them. it is the complete set off a 87 iroc. my car is a 85 that never had grouind effects. the front does not seem to fit right. do i HAVe to get a 87 front bumper to????

 

Sorry man, but that front bumper is way different on the Z's (and later RS's) than on the sport coupe. You're gonna need to get the bumper. The sport coupe lower portion angles inward, the Z and later RS front bumper angles outward.

While you're at it, make doubly sure that you got the black air deflector (bolts on under the radiator) to direct cooling air up to your radiator. Those extra little nose vents aren't on the Z front bumper, so you're gonna need it. My Z had the deflector missing when I first got it, I bought a new one and bolted it on for a cooler running car (10-20 deg F on average on the highway).

 

You will also need a new rear bumper. Both the front and rear bumpers are different on non gfx cars and cars with them.
