Spring Is Coming Tips On Auto Insurance

With the warmer weather around the corner, here's some food for thought for you guys.

You always here the horror stories "I just finished my car and a guy blew a stop sign and totaled my car that I just finished restoring".The insurance company only wanted to give me 3500 bucks for a car that I had 15,000 into.

Well for those of you that may not have thought of this before here's something to look into and research.

Many of your cars that are 15yrs or older qualify for special vehicle or classic car insurance. There are many companies that offer or specialize in this type of coverage, one of the bigger ones being Grundy.

The coverage, fees & year allowances differ from state to state. More often than not it is less expensive to insure a show car this way than through a regular insurance company.

There are stipulations that the insurance company will go over with you like is the vehicle garaged, how often is it driven, and typical weekly use of the vehicle.

Being a car guy that does this for a living,I hate getting that call on Monday morning saying ..you will never believe what happened over the weekend.

Just a heads up guys,

Happy Hot Roddin,

Tony
