Iroc emblems..anyone use bumper emblems on rockers?

I cant seem to find rocker emblems for my car so i have come up with an idea since i found 3 iroc bumper badges...cut the bowtie off two of them and use them on the rockers. What does everyone think about that? Will it look good? Will it work?

I don't see why it wouldnt. Just measure the slot in the GFX and compare it to the Emblem, the only differences that come to mind, is that the bumper emblem Stick on, and is pliable. The Rocker Emblems are Hard Plastic and have 2 tabs sticking out of the back.Try it and see what happens.

Well the rocker emblem is actually exactly the same as the bumper one except for the bowtie...its just glued to a plastic backing. I already have a line on the plastic backings that i need i just need to glue a new emblem into the backings. The only thing i worry about is hurting the emblem and having it look right.

If done right do u think it could be undetectable? Im looking at aftermarket as well but they just dont look like they have the color just right. Id rather go GM anyways even though this car is probably going to see another repaint in a 10 or 15 years.

Just ordered three iroc-z bumper emblems in red. Im going to end up cutting the bowtie off two of them. I think i can make it look perfect.
