Do 1990 and 1986 bird body parts interchange?
hi,
i am looking at a 1990 firebird v6 as a donner car and i have a 1986 firebird v8 and i was wondering if the body parts and interior are direct fits. Body parts including hood, fenders and bumpers and interior parts like seats headliner and consoles. Thanks in advance for your help

yup, everything should be the same, only difference may be if one car has ground fx, the fenders and quarters would have the mounting holes.

ok great and im assuming a 1992 firebrid fenders, bumpers and hood will also be a direct swap

The 92 Firebird fenders and hood are a direct swap. The bumpers are not.
The 1990 dash, door panels (they look almost the same, but they changed the door handle/lock plastics in 1990) and some other misc parts won't be the same as the 86.
