Late for the party
I was hoping to have this all done by ThirdGen Fest this coming weekend. But as it stands right now I will at least be in primer and should be done with her by mid June. All I do is sand and sand and sand. I even got my boy sanding, which may not be a good idea if he thinks he can sand everything now.
I almost have all the clear coat (that was pealing) off and it is looking UGLY, which is great. the little bit of primer I laid down looks nice so I will hit that with some 380 grit and put a good coat of primer on everything.
I'll try to update as I get each stage done. After primer is coming a Charcoal Metalic, with a reflex blue strip package that I am still deciding on what it will look like.

I didn't make thirdgen fest. However this is what I did over the weekend. Should be ready for paint mid week. there is a car show in Pontiac over Fathers day weekend, I hope to be able to make it for that. As for 3rdgen fest... maybe next year.

Back in Black
decided to not go with the Charcoal. Planning on wet sanding tomorrow and should be putting on clear coat next week.

Re: Late for the party
Had some problems with my stripes. I got 2 coats on but the 1/4" tape started coming off on one corners so I was stuck. All in all I think it turned out well. Next step is clear coat.
This wasn't my first stripe package I had thought of; wasn't even tenth. Every time I thought of a stripe package I would find it on another 3rd gen somewhere. The last one I was going to go with I found on sinister's camaro. I was right, I looked perfect; but I had to have something I hadn't seen yet. Now it is finished.
