different bird fenders?
ok i had a white 86 firebird now its got a black 89 nose gfx hood rear bumper and a drivers side fender.. i was looking at it the other day and i noticed that the 86 fender seems to have a higher ridge in the back where the fender meets the windsheld and it seems to have a flater profile on the top edge than the 89 ... is this just a missalighned illusion and the colors make it stand out more or is there a difference between a 86 and 89 fender???

Re: different bird fenders?
when you mix and match parts you gota work extra hard to make them fit right.
the hood probably needs to be adjusted. theres a rubber cover on the screw adjuster near the hindge and there rubber screw mounts in the front of the bumper
just gotta play with it
goodluck

Re: different bird fenders?
The fenders should be the same. Unless one is an aftermarket fender. Then you never know what you're going to get.
