Stock wheels to Iroc wheels

I have a 92 Firebird with the stock 15x7 wheels on it,
do I need to buy wheel spacers to go to Iroc's (16x8) or are the wheels offset for me already?

The front and rear IROC wheels have different off-sets. Many Camaro owners have swapped IROC 16's for their 15's without difficulty. I can't imagine it would be different on your Bird.

Re: Stock wheels to Iroc wheels

there is no problem at all - just make sure you put the rims that say front on the front and back on the back. its stamped on the rim.
and watch when you get new tires so the fools dont screw it up, especially if you are going to run bigger tires on the back than the front.
and you can get bigger tires - they are 8 inches and standard rims are 7 nches.

Thanx... I found some nice ones and am picking them up on Sat.
I hate the stock wheels sooooo much.

Re: Stock wheels to Iroc wheels

However, Does anyone Know the compensation tire size so that the total diameter of the new wheels matches the 15's... Just so the Spedometer reads right... Thanx

Thats not a real concern until you have 17's up front.

They fit. I have them, they look small on the firebird for some reason, though.

It seems like your car is up real high, thats why they seem small, if your car was lowered, they'd look good.
