High Rise spoiler install question
I bought a high rise spoiler from a junkyard. It has never been installed and came with no hardware. My factory spoiler has the bolts screwed into the pedestals. It feels very solid. The high rise feels hollow. How the heck are the bolts secured into the high rise pedestals if they are hollow?

Same way they are screwed into your hollow stock spoiler. You'll just need more studs. Believe me, there is enough meat at the bottom of the pedestals for the studs (actually broke one out of the spoiler when I removed it the first time).
:edit: Oh, and before you do ANY drilling or installing of hardware, take the stock spoiler off, set the high rise on there, put masking tape where the pedestals are, line up the spoiler, and mark around the pedestals for proper alignment later. Install the studs in the spoiler, and mark around those as to where to drill your holes. Trust me, if you just eyeball it, it will come out crooked and ghetto looking (the way mine is).

You will also have to weld the holes from the three piece spoiler closed. Then drill new holes for the hi-rise because they won't be the same. Don't try to just bondo the holes.

Re: High Rise spoiler install question
Thanks for the advice. I've got a quote from a local bodyshop to fill the holes and sand them down, add a little filler, then primer= $178.
