Fender removal?
I got into a little wreck and my driver side fender got screwed up. So I've been trying to remove it but I can't get the last bolt off. It's a very large bolt on the bottom near the door panel and has a strange looking washer/nut on it. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thx

Re: Fender removal?
Just took my fenders off a few days ago so that bolt is fresh in my mind. Its either a 12 or a 13mm, cant recall for sure which. If its not facing straight at you when you look under there, then the press weld that the bolt goes into has probably been mashed over by a floor jack at some point. If its mashed you will need to bend the part back down with a pry bar so you can get a ratchet onto that bolt. Since you say it looks like it has a strange washer with a nut, I think you are actually seeing the back side of the bolt which has a nut made into the press weld, and the front is mashed up to the bottom of the fender. The actual bolt should look just like the ones that hold your fender on, only bigger.
Keep in mind that bolt will likely be very corroded on the back side, so back the bolt out of the hole very slowly, or it can get overheated and break off. Do a few turns at a time and keep your finger on the back side of the bolt where it screws through that press weld. If you feel it start getting hot, wait a few and turn it a bit more. Some PB Blaster or WD40 might help ease it a bit if its really rusted in their.
If this doesn't help, and you can post a pic of that area of the car, I can tell you what to do in more detail.
