Filling holes in hatch and rear quarters

I have a 1991 Z28 that over the years before I bought it, it received the early style GFX and three piece spoiler. I want to remove the 3 piece and put on the original aero gfx and high rise. Any tips as to how to fill the holes in the rear quarters and hatch? Thanks

weld the holes, and do not use bondo to fill the holes; otherwise, bondo will crack later.
