lower hinge bushing play question

For those that have used the TDS hinge repair kits, has anyone had the following problem: with the lower hinge there is play with the pin in the bushings but there is also play with the bushings in the hole.

Do the new bushings have a bigger OD and fit snuggly in the holes? And are the factory bushing serrated or smooth. Mine appear to be serrated so i can't see how the new bushings will fix the problem.

thanks.

HI Eddie,

It sounds like the hole itself may have become elongated. Here's a link to an article that shows you how to resolve that issue.
