new guy, 84 camaro model question
new guy here... i just purchaced an 84 camaro and my question is how do i tell what model this camaro is ?? is it a sport or a berlinetta?? it has the 6 cyl, 2.8 liter engine.. also, anyone have any good websites that sells online stock parts and/or engines?? i've found a few but they do not have any pictures of most of the products!! i am looking to take the original engine out of car this winter, and put in an engine that has some muscle to it!! thanks

It looks like a sport coupe.

Burly's often have gold trim in the taillights and front end pieces (ie. turn signals). It also has Berlinetta markings on the front drivers side, both sides behind the windows and on the rear bumper.
Edit: Oh, I looked it up and it was the first year for the digital dash and radio pod.

Looks like a base 84 Camaro (that's what I have!)
As for parts etc, best bet is to check our your local craigslist, ebay or wrecking yards. There are also members on the forum that have more access to yards, and can find stuff for you too.
As for the engine, I just tore my 2.8 out and have a 350TPI ready to go in. Just need to get some time to start swapping everything out.
