t-top interchange?

I found some t-tops out of an 87 for $50 locally. He said they were the pin style tops and so is my 92. Is there anything different that wouldnt make them fit my 92?

Re: t-top interchange?

The older tops will have smaller pins than your 1992 tops - the 1992 tops have same size pin, but they are covered in plastic as I remember, making the ending result a larger pin - the older tops have just the metal pin, thus smaller. All that's required is to get the pin holes from the donor car if possible and swap them out - they simply bolt on. Or get them off any older car with the smaller pins (or ebay, thirdgenranch, hawks, etc).
