89 CAMARO.
89 CAMARO.
my girlfriend was closing my hatch, and didn't know how to. she dropped it about two inches above where it should be laid. now the power hatch won't work. it seems like its not aligned or something. it'll go down, and when it gets to the point where its closed, the motor will sit there and buzz. help?

Not sure if I'm getting it but if your hatch motor is just on the down position poke the lever closest to the license plate with a screw driver. It will trick it into thinking the hat is closed and will pop back up so you can shut it properly.

Follow the tech article I wrote that is on thiirdgen.org on repairing the 86-87 & 88-91 hatch pull-down units. Most likely you broke either the hatch housing or the gear nut. The tech article gives the part numbers and sources for each item and instructions how to disassemble and repair it.
