I purchaced an 1987 trans am last year thining it would be a good project car. A little while after I brought it home I started tearing it apart, and was devastated after the carpet was removed. The driverside floorpan was almost pure rust.
After a year of searching for a trans am/firebird with a better frame I found a 1992 firebird that is in excelent shape. The ground effects on the firebird are completely different than the ones on the trans am. I would like to put the ground effects/ bumpercovers that are on my trans am on the firebird, but I do not know if the mounts are the same.
Any info would be gratly appreciated!

 

im pretty sure all the mounts are the same. If the new firebirds front fender GFX are in good shape with no breaks, i would be interested in buying them.
