will a s/c 383 fit under a stock iroc hood?
hi well in the future i was going to drop in a big ol supercharged 383 iroc in my 87 iroc camaro and just wondering if it will fit under a stock hood. if not will a supercharged 350 fit. or is a twin turbo setup smaller? thx

So. A 383 and a 350 have the exact same block. The 383 has a 400 crank (The stroke is different). A Blower probably wont fit, let alone you wanting to use the "iroc" TPI system. You will be carbureting it probably for the blower..... And a twin turbo setup will probably fit assuming you are still using the TPI.

you'd need about a 4" cowl hood...i have a 3 1/2 and im going to try it and see if it fits if not im going to mod my hood...turbo will fit...and vortec or procharger will fit
