Okay to leave car on jack?

My spare tire on my car went flat, so the car was leaning over pretty bad. I took the little black jack that came with our cars and straightened it with that. I'm just wondering it that's gonna hurt the car if i leave it like that too long. Affect the frame or something. Should i try to get it on jackstands? I'm trying to get a tire quick on there for the winter, but till then wanna keep the car in good shape

It's always best to use a jack stand when the wheel will be off for an extended period of time. (or if you're planning on getting underneath it)
