How to take off side effects?
How to take off side effects?
Sorry if its a stupid question, but how do you take the side effects (rocker panel cover with "camaro" on it) off an 88 camaro? its been driving me nuts. i think i see 2 screws on the inside of it and no way to unscrew it. how do you even get to them? from the fender and the quarter? i just dont want to damage them and have to get other ones.
thanks for the help!

Re: How to take off side effects?
The ground effects that are on the fender you mean? Or what is on the body section? Either way, there are screws along the top of the door sill area, inside the fender well along the lip, under the car, and behind the effects on the inside of the door, fender, etc. for all depending on which piece you are trying to take off. Some of them can be pretty tricky, but yes, it should just be those little body nuts behind the effects and or body screws for the rest. Just be careful and take your time. You may benefit from either a swivel socket/extension or ratchet wrench depending on location and how tight a fit it is in some of these areas.
