Remember the gold hood birds on the 79 T/As. i'm thinking about putting one of the big gold ones on the hood of my 87. i'm repaiting the entire car black so I thought the gold bird would look good and it would match the gold emblems i have on my car already. Does anyone have any pictures of an 87 that has the full hood bird on it? I just wanted to use it as a reference and to see if it looked good before i went and bought the decal.

I love the hood birds, once I paint my 91 T/A 'vert I'm getting one!

 

i wanted one that went over the entire hood just like the birds on the 79s hood. I know the little vents on the front would get in the way but i plan to take those out.

I think a 1981 hood bird would look better on a 3rd Gen.

Oh gotcha... I googled "final destinal 2 car crash" and i got a youtube vid with that firebird blowing up. But at least they destroyed a foxbody to even it out.

 

not my car, wish mine was inthat good of condition, but it was a firebird nose with a razzi front lip. i still have my lip, but i installed a trans am nose instead after it was wrecked

 

instead of destroying a perfectly good t/a hood, wanna trade for a firebird hood?

 

That's what I'd like to do to my hood. I'd like it painted on rather than a decal.
