Rustoleum Rust Reformer
Hey guys, I'm working on my 91 Trans Am convertible now
(https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/conv...t-serious.html) and right now I'm starting to work on some surface rust on my floors on the interior. There is surface rust in awkward and tight gaps and spaces that are almost impossible to sand, so to compensate I thought I'd try some Rustoleum Rust Reformer, in case I don't perfectly sand off every last speck. I'm just wondering if anybody tried this stuff and how it works. And the directions recommend applying the stuff between 50 and 90 degrees F.... you think its OK if its just a little under 50 when I go to put it on? Thanks!

Re: Rustoleum Rust Reformer
I came across this stuff a few months ago and have been using it on everything. It lays down nice and has a good bond to the surface. I was using Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator before, but this is better stuff IMO.
I've used it at around 50 degrees without problem. Just takes longer to dry.
