help identify these parts.

Ok, I am working on an 84 base firedbird. I bought it from a car that had started fixing the front edndc after bhe wrecked it. I have most of it back together I thenn found these. The item in the first picture I have six of exactly like that one. they are about 8 inches long and about 2 inches wide at the sides. The sceond and third picture are the same object just taken from both sides. Thanks for all serious input.

Re: help identify these parts.

The first one is a body shim from the looks of it. The 2nd/3rd is the filler panel that bolts to the bottom of the front fender in front of the wheel and to the bottom of the front bumper cover. The air dam extensions bolt to the curved edge in front of the tire.

Re: help identify these parts.

The first piece pictured is a shim for the front inner bumper.

Re: help identify these parts.

Ok, Thanks for the advice. I am having to get a different front bumper, the one on the car was wrecked and is bent and twisted. It would not really be a problem but the inner plastic molded piece is all bend so nothing will line up on it. Where do the shims go on the bumper? I am a young college student with not alot of money so I am trying to do as much of the simple body work as I can by myself.

Re: help identify these parts.

The shims just go between the inner bumper and the frame.
