Sure looks that way. The photo is at least 15 years old. Probably 21 years old.

Some kind of gimmick would be my guess. So we can see all the details of the bottom of the car.

 

hope this pic is ok was working on spare tire compartment today there was a watermellon size hole there

It looks to be a 1989 Turbo Trans Am. Single intermediate pipe and cat, 200-4r trans and big "butterfly" cross member and the all important split exhaust tips....

Did you have a problem getting it on the Rotisserie? or is the car put on a lift then lowered onto it or something...?

 

The story about this car is on the TTA website. The dealer had been doing this to a new car every year. To bad better pictures arnt around..
