Help!!!
What is my paint code? is it 16U 16L?
Something seems wrong cause this is a 2 tone 82 Indy pace car.
and where can I find some touch up paint?

 

Any good auto paint store can hook you up, but bring your car with you.

I'm NOT talking about PepBoys or zone

 

Don't really want to drive the car around.
How can I determine what the paint code is - based on these numbers?

 

Could these be the colors I need?

16 Med Pebble Gray Exterior
26 Dk Blue Met Exterior

 

Take a pic of the ID tag and go to the paint store

Let them decode it, although I'm sure someone around here will chime in soon enough.

 

16U=Upper Color
16L=Lower Color

 

Look in your console and there should be a decal at the bottom of the decal there will a set of numbers that will start with WA this may help but you should have a different lower and uper code say 16U and 50L on a pace car

 

made it over to the garage today.
Darn - No, there is no label inside the center console.

That must be a later thing.
really it the car looks to have
16 upper
16 Lower
then a dark blue center section was sprayed in.

If the trim tag is to be believed - then that must be it.
I will search out those colors.

 

One other opiton is to call a GM dealer and give the your vin number and they can tell you the codes I have to do that on cars where the paint code is on the spair tire cover and the cover is gone and ask for the parts Dept
