Hatch body panel removal????

Hatch body panel removal????
Okay so I need some major help here I had a hatch with defrosters in it some kid at my school busted it out. I bought a new one from the junkyard but here is the issue the panel with the spoiler on it is a different color than my car and it doesnt have the third brake light in the spoiler so how do I save myself some money and trouble? I have seen people take that panel out before and just have the glass and the metal trim around it but I dont know how to do it please help!!!???
