No key, No Hatch Opening?

Hey guys,

I am tired that my keys wont open my hatch, and is difficult to open the doors even. I now decided I am going to change them out, however I dont know how to open up the hatch? Key goes in, but no turning. Any ideas?
Its on an 87 Camaro with the electric motor.

Re: No key, No Hatch Opening?

The key is prob. worn out ! Take out the pass. side door lock (because its
usually not used as often as the drivers door or the hatch and the tumblers
are not worn out) and take it to a locksmith and have him make you new keys !!!!!!!!!!!

Easy and cheap !

I had NO door/hatch/t-top key and thats how I got mine!!!!!!!!
Cost $20 bucks!
