Rear Body Panel Help -any one cut one out before
Has any one cut one of these out before and put a new one in? Quarters are fine just the rear panel is messed up
My 1988 iroc was hit in the rear end, "lightly" lol and smashed out the glass tail lights bumper cover and every thing behind it pushed it in a little. The only thing that it seems to need is the rear body panel and every thing that plugs into it. And maybe a rear fender pulled just a little. So i am looking for any one who may have replaced this part and if so, how hard is it .
It looks like i would have to cut said part from another car and weld it back in since they dont sell them any were. Can any one help me with this one.
thanks

Re: Rear Body Panel?
your gonna need to either weld tubing or if you have a porto power to put it from qt panel to qt panel because once you cut that sucker they will collapse inward... after u du so start drilling the spot welds, get urself a spot weld drill bit
