Best/Favorite type of antenna

So I'm currently making a list of what to do for rebuild and was wondering about antennas.

Should I go for power antenna, fin, stationary, none.

What are your all thoughts? any pics?

Thanks.

My plan is to remove the mast ant on the fender, and just move it to under the dash pad or something hidden like that.

I think it would look nice to not have anything there.

Re: Best/Favorite type of antenna

by far the best antenna I have ever had was the one on my 74 k5 blazer. It is in the windshield and gets better reception than any other antenna on any other vehicle I have ever Had. My Formula's is hidden in the front pillar behind the plastic trim on the drivers side. I like the more flush look. Also I was toying with the Idea of mounting one in one of the back quarter panels like on the 4th gens.

I'm surprised you get good reception with the antenna in your windshield, my 01 grand prix has it in the back window and the reception isn't very good with that one. I really like the idea of putting the antenna in the rear quarter panel, my 4th gen had this (obviously) and I thought it looked great, I later put in an aftermarket power one which only took about 10 minutes since everything was easy to get to. I haven't seen it done on a 3rd gen but I would love to see it done let me know if you do it.
