paint and seals
has anyone here ever replaced their T top seals and then later painted their car around the new seals?
reason i ask is my seals are orig and im needing to replace them but not in postion to paint the car just yet and for the next few days to the next week or so my FORMULA is doing daily duty untill i get one of my truckes fixed.
all i need is the main body seal, a friend gave me the top glass seal so unless theres somethin else i ACTUALLY need i got the rest. i just need the PN for the main body seals.

Re: paint and seals
You could. Id use rope or foam to separate the gasket when your ready to paint so your not left with a nasty tape line.

Re: paint and seals
my main concern is where the seal goop meets the front and rear roof area. i "may" paint that area only when the seal is out so i dont get a peeling edge afte time where the goop meets the roof.
