Hey guys, I've got a 88 formula front clip off of a car I owned that was totalled by a drunk bitch. I now own a 84 trans am that's in the middle of a
lt1 swap. My question is, how hard is it to swap my trans am into a formula. I have fenders and nose off the formula ready to go on. Do the side skirt just onbolt? Am I going to have to cut off brackets?? Are formula rear bumpers hard to find in good shape??

If you need to remove the ground effects you'll need to remove them and fill in the holes where they were attached. Firebird / Formula bumpers are easy enough to find in good shape. Normally I'd advise just buying the type of car you want rather than converting it to look like the one you've always dreamed of or whatever. That's just me though.

 

Well I had my dream car(88 formy ws6 tpi 5 speed) but some drunk bitch hit and totalled it for me. I also found this rust free running hard top ta for 700$$ so I couldn't pass it up. Thanks for the help though man.
