The pain in the *** is the $ to replace it. How badly is it rusted? If hole causing rusted then yea it needs to be replaced. If I recall all that is required is removing the screws and then prying it off.

People want a pretty penny for an unrusted t-top bar, so like a broken record, Go yard hunting before resorting to buying one online. Hunt Craiglist for a days as well. They go for around $55-100 on here if I recall.

Re: t top question?

Best bet is to find a rust-free one from a junkyard -- I scored a perfect one off a car for $2. Good luck!

Also, don't forget the correct sealant when you're putting it back on, I believe it's called 3M Strip Caulk. Comes in strips on wax paper in a flat mini board game-looking box. You'll see what I'm talking about when you pry the old one off after all the screws are out.
