I what to have my whole car repainted but while I was at it I wanted to get a spoiler with a center rear brake light. Can I just get a spoiler center piece with the brake light and have it mounted and painted or would it not match the side pieces. I wasn't sure if they changed the shape or not. Thanks!

 

Hey, You will need the whole spoiler. The side pieces are not big enough to fit the spoiler. Also you will have to drill new holes in the quarter panels to mount the 87-90 spoiler. As far as the spoiler on the hatch it will fit fine. But the quarters will need some more work. But defiantly worth it. As far as getting it to work. You should pull the wiring and the contact on the bottom of the hatch and rear plastic to mount on your car so the break light works. Good Luck -Matt

 

I added the spoiler with brake light to my car(great junkyard find).I agree with all that 19CAMARO85 said..Not all the holes in the decklid match up, and one has to be enlarged to fit the wiring harness.Cant wait to see some pics!!! Keep us posted!
