water on carpet passenger side

water on carpet passenger side

hi , i have a small leak on the passenger side carpet,,,not coolant ,,,heater core is new and it's clear rain water...where can it come from ..no t-tops...it will rust the floor...thanks.

it looks ok..you think water can get in from the door..it seems it is coming from the firewall...

Check underneath the mesh panel that surrounds your wipers, and see if it is clogged with leaves, and debris. If it is, it could rust and let water in through the firewall.

same problem, cant find where it comes from. I ran a hose around the door and windshield area and no luck .

Take it to the car wash, sit in it and have someone hit it with the high pressure hose. Be sure to have it on rinse and not soap. That should help you a bit.

maybe i'll try that,,,i did the same thing with the garden hose,,,no water came in...weird!

i had holes in my wheelwells that were also going straight through the firewall filling my new carpet with water and causing a rust hole in my floor. check the firewall from the inside where the seam sealer is thats where mine rotted
