Re: pics of murdered out third gens

Murdered out is a phrase thats becoming popular lately for "blacked out" cars. Generally speaking, All black paint, dark tint, black rims, sometimes including blacked out tail lights, turn signals, and headlights, and a true "murdered" vehicle would have an all black interior to match.

To the OP, theres very very very few 3rd gens on this board like that.

You came to the right place.

Not sure about the Camaros, but there sure are plenty of Firebirds painted up like that. It has something to do with a show back in the Eighties. Anyway a search will turn up lots of them. Have fun!

I think Sid rs91's car is something like what you're talking about. It's in his signature:

I read his post as sarcasm, but its hard to tell online...

Get 10 cans of flat back spray paint and go to town on the car, rims, lights, everyhting. Oh, but before you do that sell the Camaro and buy a 90's civic.

Don't do flat black!!! Satin Black is by far a better solution. Flat black turns an ugly grey after awhile.

Nope, 1927 Model T. Otherwise known as a Telephone T because of the the high pitched and squared off roof top.
My Dad restored Model T's and Model A's.
Did you check out the 1953 Nash Rambler behind the "T"?

Re: pics of murdered out third gens

I love the way murdered out cars look, they seem to resemble the cleanliness of a Benz, or Mercedes for that matter, for mine however i want to go a dark silver with black rims, ground effects, lip spoiler & mirrors, also the recessed parts within the bumper leading to the headlights (stock). It would have the color combination resemblance of the 2010 Camaro w/ Ground effects package.

Nash was an American car company that changed names several times. It went from Nash to Rambler to American Motors then Chrysler bought them out. They dissolved the brand right after that.
The cars in this club have some history back to 1917 when the former president of General Motors bought out the Jeffrey's car company in Wisconsin.

What year is it? Did you black out the Torque Thrust IIs? They're polished in the first pic., then they look blacked out.

Looks to be more of a satin black than a flat black. I needed to see a pic of a satin black SS hood. I know what my next project is, thank you lol.

I really want to do a satin black type car, or matte black which I hear is slightly different than satin. Either way, a dull black car just looks mean. Has that unfinished hot rodder look

First time I heard "Murdered out" was on the MTV show "Rob and Big." They had the murdered out uav, which was really nice. As far as storm trooper goes, my girlfriend has a white 2010 Kia Soul Sport. Look it up, looks just like a Storm Trooper.
