Interesting Camaro ram air/cowl hood
Saw this hood on eBay that I thought was an interesting take on ram air hoods.

This is what would worry me:
"Comes in white gel coat finish outer frame and partial black inner frame"
What the hell does that mean? Its almost like they took a flat, fiberglass hood and molded that thing on it.
The other thing that's REALLY interesting: Look at their feedback. EVERY auction for a hood is listed as a PRIVATE auction... Wonder why? Maybe they don't want people seeing which hoods were given negative feedback... If he lists all of his hoods as private listings, it REALLY looks like he's got something to hide. If something is of poor quality, you'll spend way more to bodywork the part perfect than you would have spent to just buy a quality fiberglass part... and that won't even matter if the materials they used suck to begin with... Warped panels = FAIL.
We'll have a new Camaro hood in the next few months; stay tuned; We only use the best materials including ISO resin, and our glass content is almost always higher than others...

Yeah the pics of the underneath looked weird. But 250 dollars for a fiberglass hood is to good to be true. I do like the look of it , but I would not buy that one.

Like it but I don't think it's a quality hood, way to cheap.
