headlight door rubs against hood.

this weekend i removed both of my headlight assemblies to get a good look at the motors and mess around with them a little bit. i didn't fix them though yet, didn't buy a repair kit. i put them both back yesterday and come to find that the right headlight door now rubs against my hood when closing. i've tried everything that i could think of. adjusted the bumpers on the hood, which made it a little better but still rubs. i moved the assembly base all the way forward and even removed a screw on the base to turn it away but that didn't work. not sure why it's only happening to my right light but my left one is fine! anyone have any ideas?

Well, if it didn't do it before you must not have gotten the assembly back in the right way. Loosen all the bolts and adjust it so it doesn't hit. If the only thing you messed with was the headlight assembly that has to be where the problem is at.

i've put it in so many different times and adjust different things each time. only other thing i can think of is that the light itself is sticking up higher than it used to because i was messing with the motor and crank and somehow messed something up. and it seems to be sitting higher than it used to. the beam of the light is pointed up higher as well.
