I need to address a whistling t top when I am on the highway. I don't have water coming in, but I have a hissing sound especially when I am driving into the wind. The rubber seal seems to be in good condition. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

There's an adjustment where the body receives the pins. If you remove the plastic trim on the A pillars, and likewise by the roof, you will find the adjustment for the pins, easy enough to get to.

 

Is it whistling with the T-tops on? Because when I drive down the highway with the t- tops off the holes will make a distinctive owl sound you know(whoo....whoo) which it does every five or so seconds. It is pretty annoying.

 

No, it whistles when it's on. Kind of a hssssssss. Enough to get under my skin. Most of the summer I have had them off, but summer is waning, so I had them on today.

 

That just means your not going fast enough!

 

Well, If this was directed to me, I never drive fast enough. I have never heard the whoo whoo sound. Maybe I've been ignoring it, but my hearing isn't all that great either.

 

I did the adjusting, and It stopped whistling! Thanks for the info.

 

Just a thought but my corner window moldings were in rough shape and was whistling from the wind traveling throuhg along the mirror. With new-er ones installed it is quiet. I had adjusted the tops as they would rattle/whistle too.
