T/A headlight doesn't stop openening / closing when it should...?

Whenever I turn on the headlights, they both come on and open but the right side light trys to keep opening. It Acts like the motor doesn't want to stop, until it "pops", falls down about an inch, and goes back up about 7-8 times, and then it will finally stop. Seems like it's trying to "over-extend" itself. Does the same thing when it closes. Is there some adjustment that needs to be made that will correct this problem? Or does it just mean that the bushings are junk and it needs new ones?
Thanks,
John C.

The nylon pegs between the nylon gear and the metal shaft for the lift lever are toast. Go to a store and get some cheap 3/8" ball bearings. 3 are needed per motor, should cost about $2 if you find some.

Another option is to buy the bushings from Top Down Solutions (www.top-downsolutions.com) and you'll get everything you need to fix them.
