Drivers side mirror cable is bad...is repair possible?

The adjustment lever moves, but the mirror doesn't. I tried inserting folded index cards (ghetto) to shim the mirror, but it didn't work, of course.
Is there any way to repair the cable, or do I need an entire new unit?

Anyone selling theirs?

I've got a spare one you can have for $25 shipped priority to you. You would want to paint it though. LMK if you want pics or anything
