Shaved means removed. I see a bumper there! What are you trying to show?

The strip where the Tuned Port Injection badge would be appears to be missing.

I love it, that line has always annoyed me., it makes the back bumper to busy, the edge of the bottom ground effect breaks up the body enough, doesnt need the extra

Re: shaved rear camaro bumper

It looks good, but shaving something that long will probably lead to warping over time.

Annoyed you? I like it. I wouldn't even touch the line. Now the rear of that car looks plain.

Re: shaved rear camaro bumper

i just used some bondo ,keeping the spot for the iroc emblem there was a little tricky though.and it never had any problems with cracking or anything.

Re: shaved rear camaro bumper

You just filled the groove with Bond? How long ago did you do that & was it a driver or just a strip/show car?

I woulda used urethane filler to fill that groove in. Bondo & urethane (what that bumper is made of), expand & contract at different rates, which usually results in paint crack.

Re: shaved rear camaro bumper

Re: shaved rear camaro bumper

The bondo wont hold up for long, mine didnt! Never painted it so no biggie, a screwdriver and a hammer gets it out as fast as it went in, live n learn
