How can I remove the plastic mesh cowling at the base of the windshield, covering the wiper system? I removed the one screw holding it on, but it is still stuck. I don't want to force it off and break it. The car is an 88 GTA.

There are plastic hold downs as part of the molding around the perimiter. You just have to feel around to find them and gently squeeze them toward the inside of the grill and lift. You may feel like you want to rip the whole thing off and stomp on it but it will come off if you're patient.
